Step 1 - Choose what size and medium you would like your portrait to be. I offer a range of different sizes (standard sizes A5, A4 & A3, other sizes are available on request!) and colours in different drawing mediums. All information is available on my "Price Guide" page.

Step 2 - Place an initial enquiry through my contact form or through email (oliviasturlaart@gmail.com) to discuss what you are looking to commission and when you will need it by. I would advise to book at least 4-6 weeks in advance to guarantee completion by preferred date.

Step 3 - Once you are happy to go ahead, I will ask for photos that you are wanting your portrait to be based on. Please send as many photos as you like and we can discuss together if you are unsure which will be most suited.

Step 4 - I will then create an initial digital mockup of  your portrait using your photographs and will ask for your feedback and approval to go ahead - you are just as involved in the process as me! 

Once we have found the perfect arrangement and you are ready to start your commission, I will take a 50% deposit via secure bank transfer, once this has been done, the booking process is complete.

Step 5 - I will send you a notification of when I am starting your portrait. You will be able to follow the progress of the portrait through my instagram or facebook. If you would prefer me not to share on my social media as it may ruin a surprise, please do let me know in advance.

Step 6 - Once I have finished your portrait, I will send you a photograph of the final piece. At this point you can make any final adjustments or tweaks if necessary.

Upon full satisfaction, I will then ask for the full balance to be paid as well as arrangements on collection or postage.
